POSITION
Summary:
Plans, directs and controls the organization's overall sales and company operations to ensure profitability. Provides leadership and coordination in the administrative, business planning, operational, accounting and budgeting efforts of the company.
KEY
Responsibilities:
Directs the day-to-day operations on a company-wide basis to ensure maximum collection of client debts.
Develops company policies and goals that cover company operations, staff, financial performance and growth.
Ensures the achievement of short and long-range goals for the company. Develops and directs the implementation of strategic business and/or operational plans, projects, programs and systems.
Directs and coordinates company-wide sales and marketing strategies to meet business objectives and achieve maximum results. Works to improve the company's competitive position in the marketplace. Explores opportunities to achieve growth and financial profitability through mergers, acquisitions and divestitures, when appropriate.
Represents the organization to the financial community, industry groups, key customers and the general public.
Creates, coordinates and evaluates the financial programs and supporting systems of the company to include budgeting, planning, conservation of assets and facility requirements. Analyzes cash flow, costs controls and expenses to guide business. Analyzes financial statements to pinpoint potential weak areas.
Ensures compliance with local, state and federal budgetary reporting requirements.
Establishes and maintains appropriate internal control safeguards.
Oversees the approval and processing of revenue, expenditures, budgets, ledgers, account maintenance and data entry.
Develops and implements finance, accounting, billing and auditing procedures.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
EDUCATION/TRAINING &
Experience:
Bachelor's degree with major coursework in business management or operations with five years of collections experience OR Equivalent combination of education and collections work experience.
Progressively responsible supervisory experience in collection including a senior level management role.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
Ability to understand, prepare and present complex written materials, such as management reports, financial statements, key performance indicators.
Knowledge of finance, operations, and sales principles.
Contracting, negotiation and change management knowledge is desired.
Excellent understanding of collection procedures and federal regulations.
Excellent written and verbal communications skills required.
Ability to influence and interact effectively with others.
Knowledge of federal, state, and local laws and regulations applicable to collections.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
