1 Full-time 3 hours ago Full Job Description Summary The CT Tech I is responsible for operating imaging equipment to perform procedures to a specified patient population.

Education/Experience/Licensure Education/Formal Training Work Experience Credential/Licensure REQUIRED:
Completion of a formal education program in radiography accredited by a mechanism acceptable to ARRT.
N/A Certification and registration as R.
T.
(R) ARRT.
State license or Temporary Permit in accordance with regulations in the state where work is performed.
Must have CT certification within 18 months of date of hire.
Effective June 1, 2018:
New Hires and Current Associates are required to have BLS Certification.
PREFERRED:
N/A N/A N/A SUBSTITUTIONS ALLOWED:
N/A N/A New graduates of an accredited radiography program without ARRT primary certification.
MUST obtain certification and registry as an R.
T.
(R)(ARRT) within one year of date of graduation from an approved program.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities Basic knowledge of radiographic equipment and imaging procedures.
Ability to effectively relate and communicate with internal and external customers.
Basic knowledge of radiology information systems (RIS, HIS, and PACS preferred).
Key Job Responsibilities Performs quality radiologic procedures using appropriate technical and safety methods.
Responsible for monitoring and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, quality standards, compliance activities, and policies and procedures.
Effectively manages resources such as supplies and equipment.
Plans work and completes job responsibilities in an efficient and productive manner.
Performs other job functions.
Physical Requirements The physical activities of this position may include climbing, pushing, standing, hearing, walking, reaching, grasping, kneeling, stooping, and repetitive motion.
Must have good balance and coordination.
The physical requirements of this position are:

The Associate is required to have close visual acuity including color, depth perception, and field of vision to perform an activity, such as assessing patients, preparing and analyzing data and figures; transcribing; viewing a computer terminal; or extensive reading.

Exposure to patient body fluids as well as exposure to hazardous or poisonous materials.
Ability to react quickly to emergency situations.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
