POSITION
Summary:
Our acclaimed cardiac care services and our joint replacement and gastrointestinal surgical programs (all nationally recognized for quality of care) are among the broad spectrum of quality medical services we offer residents of Memphis and the Mid-South. Other quality services include cancer, diabetes, behavioral health, and sleep medicine.
Responsibilites include:
Daily rounding on patients
Being available as a resource to nursing staff
Communication with medical staff regarding direct and indirect patient care
Collaborating with multiple ancillary departments for coordination of patient care and stream lining hospital processes,
Participating in quality and process improvement initiatives
Participating in focused committees, education of nursing staff.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
M.A./M.S. or Equivalent
Current NP Licensure to practice in State of TN.
Current RN Licensure to practice in State of TN.
Current DEA Licensure to practice in State of TN (within 60 days of hire).
Three (3) years experience in healthcare as Nurse Practitioner.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
