Summary:
The Cardiovascular Technologist (CVT) is responsible for the roles of scrub, circulate and monitor in the Cath Lab and assisting the cardiologist with all aspects of diagnostic and interventional procedures.
This role requires becoming proficient as a scrub tech and observing/maintaining strict sterile technique, as well as performing in the roles of monitor and circulator.
The Cath Lab Works as a team and the ideal candidate possesses great interpersonal communication skills representative of highly functioning teams.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
Graduate of an accredited invasive cardiovascular technology program Current BLS certification for Healthcare Providers Current ACLS certification for Healthcare Providers Three or more recent years of Cath Lab and EP procedures Proficiency with GE Mac Lab/Cardiolab Skill to perform and maintain advanced Cardiovascular Interventions, i.

, Impella/IABP Ability to adapt to rapidly changing circumstances Great communication skills .
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
